Choking Manikins
Choking emergencies are not selective when it comes to age groups, so several generations of choking manikins are available to choose from.
Benefits
General information
Each manikin functions on the principle of clearing a blocked airway with forced air generated with the proper procedure; so abdominal thrusts or back blows can be trained. Therefore, the manikins feature anatomical landmarks including the rib cage, xiphoid process, and suprasternal notch. With the appropriate force, a direct visual confirmation of an expelled object is given to the students.
