General information
All anatomical landmarks are recognizable and the vocal cords are in a neutral position and highlighted for easy viewing. The lifelike skin is very stretchable and robust, and the upper teeth break out if inappropriate technique is applied during intubations. To determine a successful intubation both lungs and stomach are visible. The cricoid area has replaceable skins for an economical way to teach and practice surgical airway techniques.
The trainer is latex free and without carotid pulse.
The board is anchored to surfaces by suction cup feet. This head is also available without the board to use as a replacement for the SMART STAT head (101-459U Head for PDA STAT Simulation, with carotid pulse).
